Meet
Chet Barrett
It started with tree forts. I was building things in the backyard long before I knew it was a trade, and by the time I hit my teens I was already working construction jobs over summer break. I apprenticed right out of high school and earned my Certificate of Qualification in Carpentry, the Red Seal, from BCIT in 2014. Since then it's been fifteen years across framing, forming, cladding, remodels, and outdoor builds, plus enough time on job sites to build real relationships with the suppliers, trades, and GCs I work alongside. The trade keeps evolving, and so do I. I'm still a student of it.
Providing a building service to my community isn't just a job to me. Acts of service is one of my love languages, and there's real purpose in doing this work well for the people around me.
